RODUCTION CAPABILITIES

ST&D can  offer up to 3” diameter bar feed work and up to 10” diameter chucking capacity. We have an array of equipment capability from simple 2 axis up to 6-axis turn-mill. Our late model, high quality equipment is "Super Precision®" and capable of holding sub-micron tolerances, and 16RMS or better surface finishes without grinding operations 

 Our milling department has capacity of up to 21” x 40” x 24” and up to 5 axis, which separates us from many of our competitors. Being an industry leader in contract and high precision manufacturing means we are able to complete your complex and high-precision components and assemblies with the most efficient processes available.  

ST&D has heavily invested in multi-axis machining and lean practices. Our Turn/Mill capability up to 6 axis and Milling capability up to 5 axis, allows us to build your complex components often in one operation and one holding. Utilizing this equipment and these practices, ensures higher component quality and greater efficiency in the manufacturing process.

  We offer one of the largest Swiss departments in the Southeast Region processing tens of thousands of parts monthly. Current capacity is up to 1-1/4” (32MM), 14 axis, 48 tools with quad path controls. This equipment is a real game changer in production machining.
